DESCRIPTION:
The Boater's Guide to Barnegat Bay and Little Egg Harbor is an educational guide and map highlighting the region's natural environment and promoting ways for people, especially boaters, to minimize their impact on this vital ecosystem.

The map was produced as a joint venture by the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey, Rutgers University Cooperative Extention of Ocean County and CRSSA with funding from various sources listed in the document.

DESCRIPTION:
The New Jersey Boater's Pumpout Guide is an official map of all known New Jersey marinas with vessel pumpout facilities. The map was developed as part of the Clean Vessel Act to provide information to boater's regarding pumpout locations and listings and also to provide other helpful background and contact information.

Walton Center for Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

DESCRIPTION:

Guide/PDF doc: The New Jersey Boater's Boat Ramp Guide is a 67-page document for New Jersey trailer boaters compiled by the NJ Sea Grant Consortium in collaboration with the project partners (listed below; also listed in acknowledgements p. 63 of doc). Information includes all things related to boat ramps and trailer boating, including: boating safety, trailer checklist, equipment required, NJ State trailering laws, clean waters/pumpouts, boat ramp etiquette, boater resource directory, NJ boat ramp listings, and much more.

Google Maps Application: The NJ Ramp Guide Google Maps-driven website was composed by the Grant F. Walton Center for Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis (CRSSA) at Rutgers University in support of the NJ Boater's Ramp Guide. Shown in Google Maps are all of the New Jersey boat ramps as listed in the Ramp Guide. Users not only view ramp locations, but by clicking on a ramp point, can also obtain the ramp attributes (descriptions), such as whether or not there is a fee, restrooms available, fuel, lighted, etc, etc. Also at the website are instructions, links, and contact information.
