Details around the State

The astronauts carry a variety of cameras and film onboard the Space Shuttle and International Space Station. Using high-magnification lenses and special large-format film, they are able to see detailed views of the Earth. In some of the high-resolution images of the New Jersey, major roads or buildings are easy to identify. See if you can find familiar landmarks in your neighborhood (if photographed) or in the nearby New York City area. |
